Probably the best Thai food I've had so far Everything was so delicious and the place had true Thailand vibes! I could've done without the loud Thai sounding EDM music though. I would've preferred nice, quiet Thai music to eat to Music was just blasting so loud constantly Regardless, food was yummy and I loved their spice rack!

I recently visited Bangrak Market in Seattle and had a mixed experience. The Pad Kee Mao and Red Curry were absolutely fantastic—rich in flavor, perfectly spiced, and really hit the spot. If you’re into bold, authentic Thai flavors, these dishes won’t disappoint. Unfortunately, not everything lived up to the food. The Fried Vegetable Rolls were a letdown—greasy and lacking any real flavor. The service also left something to be desired; it felt rushed and inattentive, which added to the overall chaotic vibe. The place was loud and congested and the restrooms were not clean, which was disappointing. If you’re going for the food, especially the mains, it might be worth a try—but don’t go in expecting a calm atmosphere or great service.

The restaurant has a very interesting model of both bar and dining. The dish is quite delicious but the flavor is more sour and spicy so those who are sensitive to these two flavors should consider it. There is absolutely no vegetarian food here either. And of course most of it was Thai food. The table is quite small so if you intend to order many dishes at once, you should consider it. The service staff is also quite fast and friendly. But one thing about Seattle is that it is very difficult to find parking, parking lots and garages are very far from restaurants, you have to walk a long way. There are also very few parking spots on the street and the parking fee is very high. And if you are unlucky, just a few minutes late, your car will be towed away or it seems like someone is always watching your car. That is terrible. This is definitely not suitable for children. The aisles are very narrow so it would be difficult for wheelchair users. You should book a table in advance because you may have to wait a long time if you don't book a table. But this is still a destination to visit and recommend to friends if you have the opportunity to visit Seattle.

Sometimes, a “white elephant” isn’t hidden deep in the jungle — it can be found right in the heart of the city. Just like this Thai restaurant located in downtown Seattle, Washington — Bangrak Market, or as it’s known in Thai, “Talad Bangrak.” It’s not just the name that reflects true Thai identity. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is filled with the nostalgic charm of Thailand, reminding us of relaxing days dining near a floating market. What impressed us the most was the flavor — bold, authentic, and full of depth — along with the beautifully presented dishes that truly touched the heart. As a Thai person, it was so emotional, it almost brought tears to my eyes… all those feelings of missing home came rushing back. Another highlight was the warm, friendly service from the staff that made me feel like I was having a comforting meal at a family’s house back in Thailand. I’ve traveled to many places and tried countless Thai restaurants abroad, but this one is a rare gem. It’s one of those few places where, the moment you walk in, it feels like you’ve stepped through a portal straight back to Thailand. Thank you so much for such a wonderful and heartfelt meal. We will definitely come back here!????????

Bangrak Market Another solid Thai food place Super friendly service and a large variety of dishes. Doubles as a bar and opens late so they have interesting cocktails on their menu but we were only here for lunch. Spicy level is 1-5 here but we got 1 for everything because I'm baby. Pad see yew and pad Thai were yummiest. We picked one of the 4 papaya salads they had and it turned out to be the sweetest one. I can't remember all the dish names u.u The desserts were bomb too, can't go wrong with mango sticky rice but we also tried the black sticky rice with the Thai custard (?) very good. I really enjoyed their coconut milk sauce. I kept alternating between the dessert plates

As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted. The staff was kind and welcoming. I had a reservation, so we were seated quickly. The food was excellent. I ordered the Pad see Ew at spice level 3, and I’ll say this: their level 3 is definitely hotter than what I’ve had at other places. I added extra chili without tasting it first—big mistake. So, fair warning: taste before you spice! The Thai iced tea was also fantastic. It was perfectly balanced and refreshing. Honestly, everything on the menu looked amazing. I had a bit of analysis paralysis because there were so many dishes I wanted to try. In the end, I went with my usual go-to, and it didn’t disappoint. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more!
